We'd been banging on about putting an album out since 2000, but every time a line up had gigged to the point where it could be done and done well, there was another personnel change and we were back to square one. As 2006 saw our 25th member in 12 years it’s pretty obvious nothing’s going to alter on this front, so we got to thinking. Seeing as Methanol Soul got played on Radio One (ha!), and Higher Kiddies was referred to in reviews as ‘Lo Fi’ (which is a step up from ‘unlistenable sludge’) we believed we knew enough studio techniques to take another look at our back catalogue.
