It's first of all important to realise that you may have been mis-sold rock n' roll.  Think carefully.  A common mistake is the basis for the sale of your eternal soul.  Rock n' roll is not 'your dream', pop kiddies, it is an industry.  More to the point, an industry with 19th century working conditions.

Secondly, who have you actually sold your soul to?  It is a common misconception that the Devil has the best tunes.  In point of fact, God does the music.  That's why there's so much of it at church.  The Devil does the lyrics Occasionally they try it the other way around.  That's how 'Millennium Prayer' happened, and it was not pretty.

The Devil is a liar and a cheat, as well as a lousy musician.  Should he challenge you to a guitar duel for your immortal soul, he will send Steve Vai to do his dirty work.  If you're really good, you get Malmsteen.

Your soul is not yours so you have no right to sell it.  The very concept of 'yours' is laughable in an infinite universe in which we are all ultimately one.  Rock n' Roll has no majority shareholder so no one entity can sell it to you.  Go back and look at that contract.  It's unlikely to be worth the blood you signed it with (or that night with Jonathan King).

On no account should you allow the Devil to take care of your publishing.  Ask Paul McCartney.
